The Targeted Life Skills service delivers age appropriate life skills and harm reduction programmes to vulnerable young people using, or at risk of using substances.
The service delivers a bespoke life skills & harm reduction programme, based on the needs of the group. Skills based education programmes are expected to positively influence a person’s ability to adopt safer behaviours.
The service is delivered to young people age 11-13yrs, 14-15yrs and 16-21yrs in a group setting (4-8 sessions). This can be delivered at youth groups, sports clubs, schools – anywhere for a group of young people. The programme is normally delivered over 4 – 8 sessions. The courses are interactive and designed to cater the needs of all young people, taking into account their age and learning ability.
